Read the menu, message May, collect on Thursday. You pay when you pick it up.
Ordering Bento Deluxe
May cooks every box to order in her kitchen in La Canyada, so there is no checkout on this site. You message her on WhatsApp, she cooks it, you collect it on Thursday 10 September and pay when you pick it up.
A box is the price on this week’s menu and feeds one adult. One box is a normal order.
How it works
Step one, read this week’s menu
A new menu goes up here every Monday. Have a read of this week’s menu and pick what you want.
Step two, message May, not the group
Orders go to May directly on 623 00 14 56, not in the group. The button below opens WhatsApp with the message already written, so you change the name and the numbers and send it.
Hi May, this is [your name]. I would like 2 boxes for Thursday 10 September please, one of them without nuts.
Sides and swaps go in the same message, in your own words:
Hi May, this is [your name]. 2 boxes for Thursday 10 September, one with the meat free swap, and one side.
Tell her in that first message if anyone has an allergy or does not eat meat. She can leave the nuts out if you ask. She cooks on her own in a home kitchen, so she will tell you honestly what she can and cannot do.

She writes back in the same chat with your total and the pickup address. Nothing is booked until she does, so if you have not heard from her, you have not ordered.
Orders close on Tuesday 8 September in the evening, that is when she buys the food. Ask her anyway if you are later than that, she will tell you if there is still room. If something comes up and you cannot make it, just say so. You pay on the day, so a box you do not collect costs you nothing.
Step four, collect on Thursday and pay then
Pickup is in La Canyada on Thursday 10 September from 5pm, with parking on the street. May sends the exact address when she confirms and you agree a time between you. If you cannot get there, ask her about delivery.
You pay when you collect, never before, and your total is in the chat so you know what to bring. Bizum to 623 00 14 56 is easiest. Cash is welcome too, please bring the right money, there is no float in the kitchen.

I was nervous about ordering off WhatsApp the first time. May answered in an hour, the box was ready when she said, and I have collected every Thursday since.
Twelve euro for a proper meal that is not a sandwich. The rice alone is better than most places round here and there is always enough of it.
I asked for no nuts for my daughter and May told me exactly what she could and could not do, no fuss. That is why we keep ordering.
About the WhatsApp group
The menu is posted there every Monday, so it lands on your phone. Only May posts in it, and you do not need it to order. The other members can see your number, like any WhatsApp group, so skip it and read the menu here if you would rather not.
